If u have no problem then i would request u to do a full format of the laptop because it has been affected with virus and though it is removed still it will be hidden in some system files. if u have any inportant data then take it in any of the external media and then after recovery of ur system install symantec antivirus corporate edition 10.6.0 then transfer the data from the media and do a virus scan of the files.

Want to restore to beging of time

Remove any DVDs or CDs from the optical drives and then unplug all peripheral devices except for the keyboard and mouse. Click the "Windows" button and then type "eMachines recovery management" into the search box. Click on "eMachines recovery management" in the results list and then click the "Restore" tab. Click "Password Settings" and then type a new password into the text box. Click "OK" and then click "Restore System to Factory Default". Type the recovery password into the "Password" text box and then click "OK". Click "Next" To start the recovery process. Click "Finish" and then wait for your computer to restart. This procedure could take several minutes. Once your computer has restarted, you'll be prompted to create a new user account, enter the date and time and set up the internet settings.
or if you are running XP If you set your machine back to eMachines factory settings, it might help you for a short while but if you don't have effective virus protection your problems will return in short order.

You should get rid of this virus with an effective virus remover.

You can run Bitdefender's free online scan which doesn't need to be downloaded http://www.bitdefender.com/scan8/ie.html

If you know when you got the virus, you can do a system restore to a time before the virus was on your system.
This article tells you how to run it from safe mode http://bertk.mvps.org/html/safemode.html

Your best protection in general is a complete internet security suite such as Bitdefender or Norton internet security 2009.

More information here http://www.ask-the-computer-doc.com/comp...

If you need to totally rebuild your system and you don't have a recovery disk, contact eMachines to get one.

You might also try a Windows repair install if you have the operating system disk. Follow the directions here for XP http://www.michaelstevenstech.com/XPrepa... Source(s): http://www.ask-the-computer-doc.com/comp... Hope this helps.

I have a dell latitude d620 laptop and the problem is when i press power button the laptop will on but a few seconds it will turn off. when i long press pwr button it will run normally, when i press any...

It would seem from the information supplied that you have either, a Virus which may need the HDD removed for a check, or a hardware problem which I would be unable to diagnose online. If you are able, you should run a virus/malware scan at the earliest opportunity. If it runs for long enough to do a scan you may be lucky. It may be that the laptop has just become full of dust and rubbish.

My internet is very slow. It takes a long time to browse

If your connection speed is good but still you are getting very less speed, it must be due to several reasons like virus attack, inappropriate browser.

I suggest you to scan your pc for viruses first by using the online scanner given below the website.(only works in Internet explorer)

http://www.bitdefender.com/scanner/online/free.html

Once you scan your pc, if there are any viruses it will be deleted,
I suggest you to use different browser like Mozilla Firefox.
Internet explorer is normally slow.

If you still persist the same problem then, I suggest you to contact your Internet service provider( ISP ) there might be some problem with their end, if so they will fix it..

I am sure this will surely help you to fix your problem

Rate my solution.
