Question about Technics SL-MC700 110-Disc CD Changer

1 Answer

Technics SL-MC7 / Can't play cd's any more!

When starting the player, it begins with "check disc" through all the slot which are occupied. It inserts the disc into the player and immediately brings them out again writing "no disc" on the screen.

Friend. Did you try a CD that you purchased from the store? if so and this problem persist, then you need to get you a new player. If the CDs are scratched, some players will not play them, If they are burnt in mp3 format, (or data format) your player may not recognised this also. Please try playig a regular CD that you bought from the store, if this work, then you will need to reburn your music as a regular CD, hoping that the SL-MC700. reads copied. It should. But please checks these steps.

Please let me know what works.

Thank you

My Technics SL-MC7 was zapped by a power surge. I am looking for a power supply. The part number on the PS is CMKS-P3X but when I search it I get hits for a copier PS that does not look like the one I...

You will need a service manual to get the correct part number. Go online to Technics, contact customer support and technical department to see if they can provide one.

Technics SL-MC60 error message: "Take out"

If a disc has been put in the slot of the disc in play, Remove the disc, whose number is displayed, and press stop button.
Because of light or noise, the changer has detected a disc in the lot of the disc being played, even though it is empty. Check whether there is a disc in the displayed slot. With front panel closed, hold down "STOP " button for atl least four seconds or more.

No play

Sounds like the drive belt that spins the disk is slipping or broken. You have only one actual cd reader so no matter what slot the disc is in it has to go to the same cd reader drive.

Hope this helps...
