Cant put songs on mp3 anymore

I once had 600 songs on my philips mp3 player. i had deleted some cause i didnt like them. so now i had about 250 songs. i deleted one song after a while and it took away some space like i added a song. so i deleted every song, picture, video, EVERYTHING and it says its full and wont let me add anything else. It still dont have the songs or videos or pics on there, it shows i have none, but still says its full.

How did you delete them?
did you delete them instantly from the file page or through the program they probably gave you with your mp3?

Also, if you removed your mp3 without clicking the "safely remove hardware" button before disconnected your mp3 with the computer, than it may have caused confussion with your hardware.

Hi,
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

I want to delete songs from my mp3 player when i put the songs on it they are now on there2-3 times

First, diasble the auto-sync feature in Windows Media Player - there is a great explanation on how to do this on Microsoft's own website, so I'm not going to rehash it.

Second, delete every song off your player. You can even run a Repair in Philips Device Manager if it will let you, because that will have the side effect of starting your player from scratch.

Third, reload only songs that are in mp3 format or DRM-free WMA (preferably Mp3).

Fourth, since you asked how to delete songs, here is my answer:

Try reseting it when this happens. Just hold the Power ON/OFF button for 15 sec or so. If you have already done this, and it did not work, then may the force be with you and good luck.

Cant delete songs

Connect your player to your PC. Open Windows Media Player or Windows Explorer and select the player on the left panel (the device will show up as Player or GoGear (depending on the device you have). Once the contents of the player are listed, you can delete content that you desire removed.

Hope this helps
