This is hard you have to take the laptop apart to get to the ram. but you have to remove the screen to get to the case screws.

I have a packard Bell notebook computer. Unfortunately it fell on the floor and got a shock and now is working very slowly can you advise please.

Check to see if all the ram is functioning, could be that you dropped and a ram came loose and you are running on a single stick of ram. Check this in your system information to see if you got the correct ram amount that came with your laptop. If not, one could of been damage.

How do I remove the screen on a packard bell M5262? I'm trying to access the motherboard to increase the RAM but I can't get into the guts of the machine.

Click on this link to download the manual.
I think that it is the correct manual because it is for the M5 and M7 series, and yours is an M5262. Go to pg 10. It will show you how to access the memory module by first removing the battery and keyboard. Sorry if it is not the correct manual. Please let me know if it helps.

Slow Labtop

First thing to do here is to run a good anti virus scan like Avast and also a anti malware software like Malwarebytes to make sure the slow computer is not cause by a virus or any malware on it then after that better remove also some unnecessary software on your computer to free some memory/RAM and that will make the computer much faster as the last option to make it fast is to add a RAM/memory on it...
