I can't figure out how to get the photos from a CD to the computer. The photos are on a CD from HEB, they pop up on computer but I can't do anything w/ them. I wanted mainly to put them on myspace.

You can look at the cd's contents thru the Windows Explorer and go the the Drive associated with your CD (most likely at drive D).

From there, you locate the files of your images and simple click and drag them to your local drive.

First try to right click them and copy and paste to your desktop, then move them over to your myspace, however if your not able to do this they might be right protected, you will have to disable this from the original location and then burn them back onto the CD.

I hope this helped!

Trying to use an old computer using Windows 95 as a storage device for photos. When inserting photo disc into drive the following message pops up: D: forward slash is not accessible. The device is not...

Well, the "D:/" means your cd drive isn't reading or recognising your photo cd's. It's possible that if you've a very elderly computer, that the cd drive is also pretty ancient and can't handle writeable or rewriteable cd's ..only commercially produced ones. This is quite common with old cd drives. Hope this helps you understand the message, though no help in resolving it! Regards, Nicam49

PC would not open up. "Boot from CD" error message pops up.

Probably means that you have a problem with your operating system. This can be for a variety of reasons, which I probably can't figure out from the description. I'd recommend contacting whoever sold you the computer and inform the that you need new CDs for your operating system, (hopefully they will send you them for free, some companies charge a fee). When you put this CD in the tray and turn on your computer, you're going to have to watch for something on your screen that says press "F(some number, usually 10 or 12) to change boot order" After that, look for any option that sounds like a CD drive, and boot from that.

Unfortunately, there is a high likelihood that you'll be required to wipe the contents of your hard disk. That means deleting all of your photos, music etc. This *might not* happen, I've had a similar issue with reinstalling Windows XP and it didn't delete anything on my computer.

Put the cd into the drive, you should get a window pop up asking what you would like to do, click open. then just either drag and drop them into your photo file or right click on a photo and copy, then paste onto your computer.
