My boyfriend bought me a phone from a phone shop its used and it has a code and i dont know the code what am i to do??

This would have to be taken to a professional phone shop to be unlocked, though most operators will do this if you phone them, for a price.

try 1234 or 12345 or something like that, if its still the default, if its been change, all you can do is reformat it to a cellphone shop.:)

dont keep pnching in codes you will trash sim card. call att and they will give it to you. probably need boyfriends info. if you dont know you will have to tell him.

scrool down to advanced and click on edit
then you need the service code which i dont have ... argh

There is an unlocking service online but you you have to pay for it. Type Unlock Samsung T229 on the search engine and you will get to know how.

I was thinking that you should not need a code. With the phone closed, hit the left key then the right key and it should unlock

hi if the code isnt 12345 then the chances are somebody has changed it and you will only get 5 trys at guessing the code.
The problem with your model of phone is that the newer panasonic phones cant be unlocked using a code you will need to get a flash lead and the panasonic flash programme to reset the phone and reset the code.
You can either try and track down a flash lead and programme if you are unable to locate the lead and software then the only other way is to goto a phone repair shop and pay them to unlock the phone and reset the security code.
Give this a try first though if you use ask.com and type in "panasonic unlock calculater" or try "free panasonic unlock calculater" you might find a code generater programme thats only if somebody has manged to crack the code calculater i know their is one for nokia so give it a try.
The only other way you can get this done if the phone shop dont do it for you is find a web site that can unlock the phone remotely these usually charge for this service but not to much about $10 or £5 about that much and these can unlock your phone remotely you can also use ask.com to search for this service their should be a few online so have a look.
