Question about HP Pavilion dv2000t 14.1" Notebook Laptop PC (Intel Core 2 Duo T5500 1.66 GHz, 1GB RAM, 100GB HDD, D... PC Notebook
HP Pavillion dv2500 will not boot up. After pressing the power button, the BIOS options menu comes up but no matter which ''F'' key is pressed and all settings are restored to default, the screen goes black with the following displayed: ERR11ERR13. I attempted to press another ''F'' key immediately after this and the only thing that happened was ''ERR11ERR13'' displaying right beneath the first one. (When pressing F1 on power up, screen briefly flashes the normal display upon booting but this lasts for less than a second and immediately after that the ''ERR11ERR13'' is displayed on the black screen. Pressing F11 on power up has no effect at all as if that key is ''dead''.
Pressing the f8 key doesn't work either? This should boot the laptop to safe mode, if it doesn't then check the memory cards before you do anything else, try to get somebody with the same type of memory card to lend it to you. If that doesn't work, then your HDD is corrupted, and to re-install Windows.
