Question about Garden
I've got a briggs and stratton model 407777. Its ran like a top. Last time I mowed my lawn it ran out of gas. I then added some gas and it would only run while the choke was fully on. Its now time to mow the lawn again and it won't start.
I've pulled the plugs and they have gas on them. So it seems like it is getting lots of fuel. I cleaned the plug, just in case, but no go. I then tried to start with one plug out and it almost started and I got tons of spark on the right plug, when not in the cyliner. On the left hand side I got weak spark but not near the spark as the other side. Not sure if it is a function of how I had the plug lodged agains the frame or not.
You have carburettor trouble, it might be water or dirty fuel jets. Remove the air breather filter first and see if will run. If not you will have to remove the carb. and clean it and blow it out with air.
