A washer that leaks often has a leak in the main drain hose. Inspect the entire hose and correct any problem you find. Alternatively, the steel or plastic outer tubs can rust, split, or be punctured. This may be most visible during large loads and high water levels. If this happens, you may have to replace the entire outer tub but that may not be an economical repair to make. Consult a qualified appliance repair technician for further details.

Wire came out of front plastic gray circular piece and washer leaked water everywhere

Sounds like some article of clothing got between the door glass and door boot and pulled the rubber door boot away from the front of the washer. Check and make sure the rubber boot is not torn. If it is ok you should be able to slip the lip of the door boot back onto the front of the washer, make sure you get it in the grove. Then put the wire retainer back around the boot, you may need an extra hand or two to hold it and stretch the spring back on. Hope this helps

Washer is leaking from door, the other day the rubber gasket between door and tub came off during use..we put it back on, but it still leaks

Hi,
It sounds like you have a hose leaking. You can check the hose leaking by opening the washer door & inspecting the rubber boot that goes around the perimeter of the tubs. It is secured in place by two clamps. In order to check if the leak is underneath the washer tub you will first need to disconnect electrical power to the washer.Remove the three screws securing the toe panel to the front of the washer and remove the toe panel by lifting slightly and pulling forward.
Hope this helps.

Whirlpool duet washer leaking water

If the washer is leaking around the door area, more than likely the bellow (rubber seal) is ripped or torn. If you pull back the rubber folds in the bellow and inspect, you may find a rip or tear causing your leak.

Another cause can be the rear bellow clamp (clamp that is affixed to the front of the wash tub) can come loose causing a leak between the bellow and tub. All you may have to do is tighten the clamp if this is the case.

The dispenser tube on the left hand side of the door, if not seated through the rubber correctly, can also leak during the fill or rinse cycles. The tube should be inserted through the rubber in the bellow to the flange on the tube. If not, water can fill behind the rubber and drip into the bottom washer casing.

The following link explains how to access and/or replace the the door bellow on a Whirpool Duet:

Searspartsdirect.com, appliancepartspros.com, pcappliancerepair.com and repairclinic.com carry the bellow. All these sites offer competitive pricing, so shop all of them for the best deal.

If you have any questions, or require addtional assistance, please let me know. I hope this helps you. NOTE: The bellow can also become mishapened over time after frequent use. This can also cause leaks around the door. Look to make sure the bellow is sealing around the door glass. If not, it should also be repalced.

My front load kenmore washer door gasket is garbelled

Something probably got caught in the seal and pulled it out of place. If u run washer so that it fills up and starts tumbling,,, and there is no water leak,, there is a good chance u can repair this yourself. So if there is no water leaking,,, you can try and take out the bottom front panel and twisting, or shoving it back into place. If there is water leaking,,, than chances are its ripped or broken, and will need to be completely replaced

Front load washer leak

This could be the rubber seal or the door lock. If the door lock is not pulling it tightly closed then it needs to be replaced. Check the seal really closely and make sure there are not cracks and it does not look deformed

This is usually an indication that the rear tub bearing is starting to go bad. The bearing is located in the rear shell of the wash tub and cannot be replaced. In order to repair, you would have to replace the entire rear shell because the bearing is actually molded into the plastic. This is common with front loader washing machines. Another possibility could be items getting caught in the rubber door boot and leaving rubber marks. However, normally this will be associated with a leak somewhere. Inspect the entire door boot and clean in behind the rubber. Inspect for any rips, tears, or places where clothes can get caught. I have experienced clothing getting snagged and actually pulling the door boot off. If the marks continue to show up on your clothes (they may even turn a brownish color) I would look into an estimate on how much it would cost to have the tub bearing replaced. It is not an easy repair, and it is not cheap. The cost usually runs around $500. I hope this helps.
