    • There's no problem on the setting, i'm using letter paper size so that i set on "LTR" but still getting alarm its showing check paper size even though the setting is correct. My suspect is sensor switch i seen two from down and at the back between two with rubber black roller but im sure is that. Do you have anymore advise for me? Thanks and thank you very much for the response.

    • Prints fine, then says check paper size and error lights up and makes the error tone. You can pull the paper tray out and push back in to reset. Try and copy another sheet same thing happens. Have already swapped out paper feed rollers and separation pad, checked paper size internally made sure on letter and paper exit sensor appear to be operating fine. Any suggestions????

the paper size you are using is incorrect.
1- when you take out the tray is the the paper snug in the tray? is the paper adjuster set to LETTER, is there a switch for custom and letter? is it set to letter?is it set to letter in the menu?

    • here is how to check the sensor :

change to legal size does it register as legal ? if no then the sensor is out of place or bad.

    • I saw that you are in Europe, is that correct?

to my understanding they use a different type of paper, they use A4 size which is a smaller size than Letter.

If you are using Letter size, my suggestion is to try and reset the machine and start over with the settings. ( if you have the manual)

Did you try to change the size of the paper? did it register the different size?

I just fixed same problem on my LaserBase MF5730 device when printing PDF file of not standard (A4) size.
Make sure that "Choose paper source by PDF page size" is unselected in your printing settings dialog.
