Digital pictures I have my kodak pictures saved on my hard drive and my computer did something weird on me one day and now I can see all my pictures that I had but when I got to click on them it says file maybe removed and I can't do anything to get them back.  Is there anything I can do to get these pictures back so I can print them out or store them on CD's or something.  If you can help I would really appreciate it.  Thank you!!!

If you are trying to look at the pictures through the easyshare software, try opening up my document/my pictures/ kodak picutres instead. If you move these pictures form this location, the kodak software can no longer find them, and you just get said thumnail. If they are not in that folder, try searching your computer for the file name of the photo.

There are programs for restoring files that have been lost or deleted. You can check at downloads.com. they usually have at least one or two for free.

I cannot transfer my pictures from my Kodak z612 to my computer.. Not sure if it is a cable problem or what.. usually something pops up on my compter,,now nothing shows up..

Consider NOT connecting the camera to the computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive. Or you can use any photo cataloging program.

My kodak easy share m530 does not transfer all the pictures to the computer. HOw can I transfer th left out pictures?

You can use a USB to Digital Camera cable or take out the memorycard in your kodak easy share m530 and use a external/internal card reader on your computer. If a screen doesn't pop up within 20seconds, go to My Computer > Look for a picture(drive) that hasn't been there before. Usually it would be like Drive I/J/K or something like that. Good luck and rate.

I Been trying to move my pictures from my kodak easyshare to my pictures in my computer for days now.Is there anyone out there who can help me out? Thanks,JimmyJoe

The original pictures are saved under your C-Drive and not under Easyshare.

1: Go into my documents
2: Find the location of the camera and your pictures
3: Drag and drop from the camera to the computer

When memory card is inserted, pictures will not save to memory card, but save to hard drive

Look in the menu. Somewhere their should be an option of where to save the photos, either internal memory or card.
Hope this helps!
