Question about Memorex MT2206 TV
When I turn on my TV I get a message that says, no signal. Then I realize the the antenna is not set to CATV. When I bring up the menu, the ICON for the antenna mode is just a black outline. It allows you to see the words Channel System but the submenus for Antenna, Skip, Current Channel, Fine, and Auto Programs do not appear.
It appeared a one time, but when I replaced my cable box and turned the tv back on, it did not appear.
You must unplug the cable connecting the television and the cable box. Then turn the television off and then back on. Do not turn the cable box off or disconnect the cable in wire from the cable box especially if you use Cable Vision. It will take up to 20 minutes before the box comes back on. Now turn the television back on. When you access the Channel System menu, you have the access to the submenu choices. Change the Antenna option to CATV and the Current Channel to 3. Reconnect the cable box to the TV.
Also those that are having problems with the TV turning off periodically, make sure the sleep mode option does not have a number in it. For example, if the number is 10, it will turn off every 10 minutes.
