I can able to connect my internet thru wireless modem, but i can't able to view my local network. i have tried by installing all driver files available in hp website.
If u r connected to an internet which is under a local network then u may see the network. On left pannel, look for "view my network connections" or "my local networks" and then click that. If u r the only one using an internet through an ISP u can't see ur local networks, ur ISP can.
Unless you are purchasing an old desktop PC, I am pretty sure any system you purchase these days (whether it's from Dell or whatever) have atleast an integrated LAN Rj45 connection on the motherboard.
The cheapest computer on dell.com (the Inspiron) has an integrated LAN connection for example.
Hope this helps,
Bill

When you mean view, do you mean you can't see shared folders? Can you see your router? Goto Internet Explorer and type: 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 in the address bar (one of these should be your router). Give us a little more information and maybe we can figure it out. Hope this helps, Bill
