Question about Samsung SpinPoint V80 SV1203N 120 GB ATA-133 Hard Drive
I Attempted to format the above drive on a Dell Dimension 8250 (PIV) running Windows XP Home SP2 as a slave drive.
The formatting utility would ONLY format it as a 32GB FHD.
I'm under the impressions this computer supports ATA 100 &/or 133 as I've formatted several large drives in it, then put them in other machines.
Help!! (and thanks)
Try using paragon utility for samsung hd. with it you can eliminate the 32gb limitation. i have this hd formated with this tool on the same OS as a 120gb hard drive, so it works.

Try increasing the actual partition to the capacity numbers in the windows xp formatting , and also format the hard drive using NTFS .
