Question about Pentair Minimax NT Heater
I unscrewed panel box on the side and noticed that the blower was barely turning and the unit was hot. A pool technician informed me I need a new blower, about $700.00, but that he would replace the entire unit as this pentair heater is not a quality product. His estimate was about $2400.00 for a new heater. I have never had the heater working since I purchased the house over 1 yr. ago. Not sure which direction to take. Any advice apprec. Thanks.
I would not put any BIG money into that heater.Nothing but problems! I would recomend a Raypak/Rheem heater or a starite.
