Question about Husqvarna , No.455 Rancher, 20" Gas - Powered Chainsaw
All modern saws are set to operate very lean at sea level (thank the EPA). If you bought it locally take it back to your Husqvarna dealer, he should adjust it without charge. If purchased at a big box store or on line I'd take it to a dealer at the altitude where you use it and ask them to adjust it. there will be a fee but running it to lean will cause it to fail. A few dollars spent for an adjustment will certainly be less expensive than a new saw.
There are tabbed plastic caps on over your fuel adjustments. Thank the EPA once more.
