the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: using Outlook on my pc - disappearing email on my iPhone

Hi, Possibly this could be the reason. Your iPhone might have been setup with IMAP connection, and Outlook with POP3. In this case, once email is downloaded by Outlook, it will be deleted from the att.net server. So, go to Advanced in your Outlook account configuration and Select the option leave a copy on the server.

Then you will have to delete all the emails individually from your phone too.

Thanks
Sandeep

SOURCE: Iphone Mail Settings

Technically, you're on the money with switching the phone's email client to POP3 and never delete from server. All of that can be done through the mail setup app on the phone.

If you want to get creative, create a new gmail account for the client, set the reply address on the new account to the original email account, and forward a copy of all incoming mail to the new gmail account. That way everything comes to the iPhone but now you are protecting the user from him/herself -- s/he can delete away on the iPhone but can't access the original email account unless connected through Outlook.

The iPhone 4 allows you to choose to remove old messages after one day, one week or one month automatically without you having to do anything.
You must first have to activate this feature for it to work though, otherwise the default is set to Never.
Here's how:

3. Next pick General.
4. Now select Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
5. Then choose a desire account you would like to activate the setting.
6. Now tap on Advanced.
7. Select Remove.
8. Finally select a desire period before old email is removed.
Here are your options:

Once the email is removed from you iPhone you will no longer get access to it again.

When you declare your yahoo account into outlook, you can configure outlook to not delete message on the server.
Outlook - tools - account settings - change - more settings - advanced tab - check box "leave a copy of messages on the server".

I setup outlook and all my emails when to outlook. I didn't want them on outlook but on my comcast email acct. I did a system restore thinking it would go back to my comcast account and I've lost them. How...

Basically you can't. You set up Outlook as your email client, it downloaded and deleted the emails from the server then you thought that they would magically reappear . They don't. If you didn't want Outlook as your email client you shouldn't have set it up, or you should've set it up to leave messages on the server.

Email deleted on the server still remains in my iphone

That's strange. Except if you have the iPhone email settings set to POP instead of IMAP ...
Without knowing how much you have troubleshooted this already, I'll suggest making sure that IMAP is ENABLED on ALL your Gmail accounts and ALSO that IMAP is enabled on all your iPhone email accounts.
If IMAP is working properly you should stay in synch, no matter how you check or delete individual emails.
If you have IMAP enabled on one of the Gmail accounts, you can still access it via POP settings with the iPhone. If this is the setup, then when you delete an email on the server, it will not be synced when you check your mail on the iPhone, but instead you'll just retrieve any new mails that hadn't already been retrieved previously. However, if you delete a mail message on your iPhone in this scenario, it will not "return."
Good luck!
