Dvd not playing in color anymore

Have no idea what happened. Left the kids with a sitter and a movie and now everything plays in black and white. Same DVD will play color on different TV.

Hmm check your dvd manual regarding the the PAL and NTSC, or look for keys on your remote control that say PAL/NTSC
then press it.

Try adjusting your S-Video cable. If it's not hooked in correctly, the color will go to B&W.

Consult the owner manual for the player (and or try it on another set) as many players have settings that can cause B&W or a single color display for the image.

My dvds are playing in black and white

Check your cables going from your DVD player to your TV to make sure everything is plugged in all the way and correctly. If the problem continues try a DVD that you know works and is a color movie and see how it plays.

New lcd tv and dvd player is playing movies in black & white

1. Verify connections are color coded.

2. If they are correct, take out movie, press Play/Stop at same time on the front of the unit (not remote) to reset any settings that may have been changed.

DVD Player won't play movies in color

It could be the av cables being faulty or shorted. Try replacing them with another set and see if it goes away.
