Question about GPS
There are two methods. I have given the quickets one first.
If you have an SD card in try removing that before you power up.
You may also want to try the hard reset.
Paper clip in the tiny hole by the card slot.
Push it in firmly whilst the unit is powered up (not too hard) for about 3 seconds then release
You may have to power down and then up again and even hold down the power button a little longer the first time you do this
For this you will need to remove the SD card if you have one.
Make sure you have the latest tomtom home installed on your computer
Connect your GPS to the computer using only the lead that came with it and power up.
It will ask if you want to connect to the computer and you would touch YES
TTH will kick in and if you already have it set to AUTO UPDATE then it will go off and get the files it needs (this may take some time)
Atfer the updates you should perform a restar with the GPS diconnected from the computer.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
