First of all, please explain how everything is connected to the amplifier. I don't understand whether you have these subs in mono or in stereo.

Make sure you run your power and ground wires opposite of the rca/speaker wires. you tend to pick up alternator noise when all wires are bunched up together. Also, make sure you have a good chasis ground to the amp, and the stereo has also a good ground. good luck

The car had existing cables in it and i tried hooking up the amp to a sub i know works. The amp doesn't light up or anything and the sub doesnt put sound. What's wrong?

Those existing cables are suspect. Start by getting power to your amp, then connect other wires, regardless of color code, to the sub. Beware of wires that look good but really are shorted somewhere. You may have to label each wire as you go along to identify its real function. You may even have to run some new wires to replace existing ones.

My kenwood KAC-7204--- the wiring is hooked up right, I just got a 2000 watt max sub 1000 watt rms, i was running the amp in bridge mode and it ran for 1 day than it turned off. I checked it and the fuse...

when i was running my sub off bridge mode this kept happening to me. I ended up just running two subs and for some reason the fuse stopped blowing. i think there is something wrong with these amps.

I hooked up everything the right way and for some reason my subs still wont bump at all. what could be the problem?

One of two things:

Either faulty, or not hooked up right.

Double check your grounding point and voltage coming from the head unit (blue wire), make sure you have your "feed" wire (blue) hooked up to the proper place on the head unit. Varify 12v from battery with multimeter. IF all that checks out...your amp is faulty.

Please rate if this helped

How to hook up a kenwood amp.kac-5204

All amps are basicly the same. It should be plain as day where the speakers connect to.
The 12V screw connects to the main power from battery, be sure to fuse that wire and use a proper size wire, thicker is better,I suggest at least 8gauge with 40amp fuse. The GND is ground and should connect to car metal, file paint for soild connection. The REM is remote and connects to the remote of headunit or if you have a stock deck to the acc of car found in wire harness of headunit. Plug in the RCA's to head unit, or get a converter to plug into speaker wires from car if you have a stock headunit.

I dont no how many watt my amp has

Hi and welcome to FixYa,

To my understanding, a Kenwood KAC-628 is rated with max power of 100 watts X 2 at 4 ohms per channel. Incidentally, it is bridgeable resulting to 300watts X 1.

Good luck and thank you for asking FixYa.

Watt size fuse do i use to connect a 350 watt stereo/bridgable amp using a 4 gauge power cord

You use the same amp fuse as on your amp, nothing larger. The fuse just keeps the wire from overheating/shorting and causing a fire.. IF you amp has a 30 amp fuse then you use a 30amp fuse off the battery

Adjusting wattage on kenwood kac 9103 class D mono amp

That amplifier is 900W x 1 @ 2ohms.
If your subs are 4ohm SVC wired Parallel, resulting in a 2 ohm load, each sub will only see 1/2 of the rated power. (450W ea.)
Your gain (sensitivity) setting should be between 75% and 85% to max. You will be fine.

My 800 watt kenwood

Sounds like you shorted out the main power wire somewhere and killed the amp. Is the amp on the fuse intact or blown? Do you have 12 volts at the amp? check you connections and see if it helps.
