An E4 Error for your Deni means that there is a signal switch error. Turn off the pressure cooker, un-plug, and wait for it to cool. Then, try again. If it continues to give you the E4 error I would recommend contacting the manufacturer - but, unfortunately, Deni has gone out of out business.
Generally, the E4 error code means that the sensor in the pc is faulty and needs to be replaced. Contact the place where you bought it immediately (if it's still under warranty) or contact the manufacturer to ask for a replacement.
Sometimes things like that are caused by the mode switch which will either need to be cleaned or replaced. It's worth looking inside for damage inside the unit. Pay close attention to plastic parts.

Oven temperature sensor (RTD) opened (lower oven, if double oven). You will have to replace this failed sensor to restore normal operations.
