There are flat-cables leading to the top of your TV. They are addressing the vertical lines of the matrix of pixels throughout your screen. Sometimes the connection between connector and flat-cable will go bad. disconnect and a bit of contact spray before reconnecting might do the job.
To isolate the problem, you can turn on the screen when you have one particular cable disconnected, blanking the responsible area of that cable. Be sure to always switch of the entire device while disconnecting anything.
The thin lines are caused by a worn out drum. Remove each drum in turn and look at the surface. It maybe hard to see the scratches and if so then send solid blocks of the primary colours one at a time and that will prove which drum is at fault.
This solution is unconventional but it worked for me. The black roller on my MFC had irregularities on it and was creating horrible printouts. I pulled out the drum and cartridge and cleaned the large black roller. I used furniture polish to make the roller very smooth. Now it prints really nice.
