Same problem different twist

I lost everything when I plug it back into the computer I get a message that the files are corrupted and then becomes unresponsive. Is there any way around the error message. Where should I look for reformatting a drive on my computer I am on a PC with XP. Should I give up and trash the player. I need really clear directions. Thanks

When phone is turned on the message states FFFFFFFFF SGH-T139

You did not mention who the carrier is. It appears that T-mobile sells this phone, although other companies might sell it as well.

Usually 8 f"s indicates a memory problem. You listed 9 F's. My suggestion is for you to contact your carrier and ask for them to reset the phone. Sometimes files and drivers become corrupted for a variety of reasons, and a factory reset is needed. Bear in mind that if you do a factory reset, everything you stored on the phone will be lost. Back everything up before doing the factory reset. If that does not work, you might have a defective phone that needs to be replaced.

It keeps telling me a file is corrupted. ive restarted & everything but every time i turn back on the message pops up. Do u know what i can do?

If you get a corrupted file, there really is not anything you can do. Corrupted files are generally caused by somehow forcing a process to stop while it's writing to a file, and that file becomes corrupted. For example, if I am playing a game and I try to save, but then get bored of waiting and turn off the console while it's still saving, the file will become corrupted and unusable.

Don't fall for online scams of tools trying to recover corrupted files, there is really no way to save a file that's been corrupted. You should just delete the file and move on. If it's DLC you can redownload it, if it's a game save you can work your way back.

My Garmin numi 200w GPS has lost the audio.

1. Press the Volume symbol in the bottom right corner and check that the mute box is not ticked. If it is press it and it will be ok.
If that doesn't solve the problem it may be because the voice file is not selected or has become corrupted.

2. Press Tools, then press Settings, then press Language. You will see a bar for Voice. Press Voice and select a different voice. If this doesn't solve the problem it's most likely because the voice file has become corrupted. To replace the corrupted file.
3. Download webupdater from http://www8.garmin.com/support/collection.jsp?product=999-99999-27 and connect your satnav to your computer. Install webupdater and your satnav will look for updates. After it's finished it will give you an option to download voices. Click the ones you want and press next. The voices selected will be downloaded to your satnav.
When you have removed the satnav from the computer you'll need to select a voice again as described in para 2 above.

File sys err how do i get that removed i have did the reset button and still no change

The reason for that error message is because some files are corrupted. Before doing this procedure, back up EVERYTHING on your mp3 player, EVERYTHING! Okay, so after you have backed up your files, you have to format your mp3 player. So, plug your mp3 into your computer and right click on it and click "format". Check "Quick Format" (for faster speed) and begin formatting. After formatting, remove your mp3 player and that message should stop coming back.

Hope this helps.

Won't import one movie file

This is not so much a solution as a comment: It is common and most likely that you can not 'do' anything with that file because it has become corrupt.
As I said, files on removable media becoming corrupt is not uncommon, actually, quite common. Simple things can cause it, turning off the camera before all the file information has been written, the camera sustained a heavy bump which may have temporarily interupted power supply or contact to the card which interupted writing.
I'm not familiar with any recovery software for videos on those cards but there may be some. If you delete moved files off the camera, leave that one on there in case we can recover the video.
As for the moment, I think that file is lost.

Rio pearl directory corrupted

first, and this is always good: If available, firmware for the Rio Carbon can be downloaded online. Second, this might be the problem: The Rio Carbon communicates with your computer differently in MTP mode than it does in MSC mode. When in MTP mode, the Rio Carbon cannot display hidden files in folders, cannot allow transfers to the root Rio Carbon directory, and cannot allow the creation of new folders. (Folders can be transferred to the Rio Carbon using drag-and-drop and copy-and-paste methods.) To use traditional folder options, change the Transfer Mode settings to put the Rio Carbon in MSC mode. Last, "..Removing the Rio Carbon from a USB connection before Idle is displayed on the screen may result in a corrupting the player's file system. If for any reason you suspect that your Rio player's file system has been corrupted, reformatting the player will restore the file system to its original state..."
