Yes you can replace it; all you need to know is: what model it is. You can buy it on ebay used or new at certain electronic retailers.

How do i fix my wii remote

If a Double-A battery insert is present, then take out your rechargeable and insert 2 Double-A batteries. Then, start up the remote and point at the screen (Making sure sensor block is in range and exposed) so the remote can re-calibrate. Once done remove the batteries, if you'd like, and re-insert the rechargeable battery pack. IF this fails, simply remove and re-insert the rechargeable battery pack. Shut down the Wii manually at the home unit, and then start it back up using the Wii remote.

My Microsoft Racing Wheel keeps disconnecting

Yeah thats an old one and i had one at once but i did not have a problem with mine, it sounds like a short in the wheel or you have a power issue. Are you using the rechargeable battery pack or the wall AC power plug? you may have a bad battery pack or wall plug is what i am saying. but this is an obsolete device you may have to find one cheap and see if it does the same thing as well..

Move the racing wheel closer to the
• Make sure the AC power supply is plugged
in or, if you're using batteries, that the
batteries are fresh.

• Keep the console and racing wheel at least
three feet away from large metal objects,
such as file cabinets and refrigerators.

• Metallic decorations or stickers on the
console or racing wheel can interfere
with racing wheel performance. Remove
decorations and try connecting again.

• Make sure the front of the console is
positioned in the direction of the racing
wheel and away from nearby walls.

• Cordless phones (2.4 GHz), wireless LANs,
wireless video transmitters, microwave
ovens, some mobile/cell phones, and
Bluetooth headsets can interfere with the
operation of the racing wheel. Turn these
off or unplug them and try reconnecting

• If you're using batteries and nothing else
works, turn off your console, remove and
reinsert the AA batteries or Xbox 360
Rechargeable Battery Pack into the racing
wheel, and then repeat the steps given in
"Connect Your Racing Wheel."

Why will my xbox 360 wireless controller not turn on

1. try actual batteries vs rechargeable pack (perhaps all your rechargeables are done).

2. open controller (see you tube instructions), check Button is intact, check power button connections on motherboard, check battery connectors to motherboard.

3. have controller serviced.

I haven't played my wii in a while and have just plugged it all in and my controllers are not working. They don't seem to be charging in the docking station, their individual docks are not lighting up...

Yes they should light up blue when they are charging.
Double check and make sure your docking station is still plugged in and turned on.

Most Docking stations are third party accessories, meaning, they were not manufactured by Nintendo. Some of them do not work very well.

If all else fails, remove the rechargeable battery pack from the Wii Remote and put regular AA batteries inside of it. The Wii Remote should work just fine.

Personally, I prefer to use rechargeable AA batteries rather than charging packs or docking stations. The charge packs/docking stations just never seem to work as well as they're supposed to. The rechargeable AA's work great and they're much more versatile since they're not limited to use in the Wii.

Xbox 360 controllers wont sync when using the rechargable battery packs instead of the 2 AA cell batteries provided with the controllers. Have tried hitting the sync buttons on both the console and...

Opt out the easy way and put a rechargeable battery pack in the controller and use a plug and play controller cord to connect the console to the controller and , voila!, they should be now sync'd to each other.
I hope this helps. Good luck.

I just bought a new charger. I place the battery packs in my remotes and then into the charging station. Both lights light up blue. WHen I remove the remotes, they won't work; I have to sync them. Problem...

That doesn't seem right, i have rechargeable battery packs for my remotes, it works fine for me, maybe you might be overcharging them, it could be a possibility.

Wii remotes will not stay on

1. Press the Power button on the Wii console to turn it on.
2. Remove the battery cover on the back of the Wii Remote you wish to sync up.
3. Remove the battery pack & install regular batteries.
4. On the back of the Wii remote press the SYNC button just below the batteries. The Player LED will blink.
5. Open the SD Card Slot cover on the front of the Wii console and press the SYNC button on the inside of the compartment.
6. When the Player LED blinking stops, the syncing is complete. The LED that is illuminated indicates the player number (1 through 4).
7. Quickly remove the batteries and reinsert your Battery Pack.
8. Return to Step 2 for each other remote.

You may run into this issue any time your battery pack has a 0% charge left in it for a duration. Try to keep them charged to prevent it from occuring in the future.

My Psyclone recharge station ruined my Wii remotes.

Try taking the batteries out and leave them out for a couple of minutes replace them and try again.

If it still does not work the rechargable batteries may be shot. You can test this by replacing the rechargable ones with disposable ones and see if the remote works then.

If it does then buy some new rechargable batteries.

I hope this helps

Problem with wii controller charger

Sounds like you broke your remote to me. did the batteries leak on your remote? If so, try to clean the contacts on the remote (the spring on one side and the flat one on the other). You may need to use a nail file to scrape off the gunge.

Now, why did this happen? Did you put rechargable batteries in your wiimote before you put it on the charger? And if so, did yo put the CORRECT TYPE of rechargables? There's a big difference between nickle cadmium (Ni-CD), Nickle Metal Hydride (Ni-MH), and Rechargable Alkaline. Putting the wrong type of battery, or a non-rechargable battery into the wrong recharger causes leaking, explosion and fire... as the charger and the batteries warn you of all over.
