Ps3 wont go left

You plug in the usb cable to charge the controller and connect it to the ps3 for the first time. You use the left analog stick to move around the dashboard when the ps3 is turned on and the 'X' button to change settings, go to the online browser, playstation store, or start a game. You can back out by pressing 'O' or holding the 'PS' button, which allows you to change a controller number (say controller #1 to #2 with two controllers), turn off the system or turn off the controller. Press (not hold) the controller to look around the dashboard while in a game and select say "Quit Game', or go into settings and change something around to your liking. Every game also comes with the controls and for what the buttons are. (Stick on left is the, "Left Analog Stick," right is "Right Analog Stick," from right to left starting at the green triangle shaped button is the, "Triangle," "Circle," "X," and "Square," buttons. The four buttons on the left going in all directions is the D-pad, and the triggers on the back going from the top left to bottom left and top right to bottom right are, "L1," "L2," "R1," "R2").

OK sometimes people put the HDMI cable to the PS3 and it changes the settings. Try to reset the ps3. Turn the ps3 off with just the red light showing. The hold the power button. when it beeps and the light changes keep holding it. then you with hear 2 to 3 beep right after another. When you do let the button go. The does a manual reset and whatever cables you have connected at the time should work. If this doesnt then your video card on the board might be out. I hope this helps you out.

Hi the problem you are having is with the blu ray player you wont be able to play anything till you get this changed for a new or working one, this is a common problem for the ps3 so check if you have any warranty left before you let any one touch your ps3.
i fit these for about 25 pound plus the cost of the blu ray drive so you could be looking at near the 80quid mark in UK so shop around if you want to get it sorted or if its an old ps3 i would consider getting a newer one as you will keep having problems.

i have a g25 wheel on my ps3 it is simply plug and play.
if you struggle with buttons check this out it has all the functions:

Top 4 The Black ones
Top-triangle-cancel-reverse(gear to back car up)
Left-square-cancel
Right-circle-E_brake
Bottom-X-enter You can also use the gas pedal for enter

Bottom 4 buttons The Red ones
Far left-no function
Second button-Change view
Third button-Pause-quick exit replay at the end of race-This button will also speed up the winnings (to keep from waiting with the cup spinning around so you can get back to racing)
Fourth button-best race line for license test

Left-look back (default)
Right-nitro (default)
I change these two buttons around myself so I have the nitro on the left.

D-pad-same as the controller up,down,left,right. For menue use.
Also for (during race)
Look back-bottom pad
Look left-left pad
Look right-right pad

To change any of the button functions use the DFP settings in the options menue.
I have not used the wheel in photo mode. The only thing you can't do with the wheel is "exit" game. I also never have my controller on during gameplay I only turn it on to exit the game. If anyone needs anymore help with this wheel give me a shout-back and I'll try my best to help.
One last thing make sure your wheel is in the far left port(port 1) or port 3

did u try to turn it off then turn it back on dont touch it while u turn the machine on this may wrk if not ure controller proberly buggered

set your ps3 on standby mode(solid red light), then just hold the power until the screen turns on. if the system turns off, try again. keep on trying until it works. it should beep 3 times to signal that it's on, then 1 more time to signal you did it right.

ok right so your ps3 wont read disks huh well first of all id like to say this has happened to me twice and it has worked perfectly for me and i quarentee it will work for you ...

first save all your data to a memory stick

secondly go to settings, system settings, and format your ps3 by clicking on full format this will delete all your filles :( but will refresh your ps3


BTW this formatting thing will take atleast 4 hours so just leave your ps3 on and chill out watch t.v or something :)
