Pump is either blocked which happens a lot or the pump may have died.

Open the rear panel of your machine after taking out the power plug from the socket and look for the power cables connectors going to the electric motor or coming from it for ant breaks, cuts or some disconnected connectors. if you find any plug them in it's appropriate place. and it will work fine

Drum knock when spin cycle

Hello.
Noises are common when using a two-in-one washer and dryer, as clicking or whirring is part of the cleaning process during the transition to the next cleaning process. The GE Spacesaver washer and dryer combo uses a top-loading washer stacked beneath the front-loading dryer, and uses an agitator that makes noises throughout the spin cycle. Although whirring or clicking is normal, other noises or malfunction indicates a problem with the washer that requires minor troubleshooting. Professional repair is necessary if the washer continues to experience problems during the spin cycle, as there may be a problem with the washer's agitator.
1 Open the washer's door and check the balance of the load's clothes. Clothes that are unevenly distributed around the agitator cause excessive shaking and result in an imbalance during the spin cycle. Reduce the load's size by removing clothing if the washer's drum is overloaded.
2 Push "Start/Pause" to pause the spin cycle and turn the washer's cycle knob to the "Off" position. Turn the knob to "Spin Only" and press "Start/Pause" to reset the cycle.
3 Turn the wrench counterclockwise or clockwise around the unit's legs to adjust the appliance's balance. The legs are adjustable with the help of a wrench to ensure the unit does not shake while in use. An unleveled unit shakes as it spins, and causes excessive squealing or rattling as it attempts to dry the clothes.
4 Touch "Start/Pause" on the front of the washer's control panel and unplug the washer/dryer unit's power cord from the electric oultlet. Wait two minutes and plug the power cord back into the electric outlet. Push "Start/Pause" to resume the spin cycle.
Thanks.

The unit makes a "whirring"

I Don't have much experiance with front loaders but when you said it makes a whirring noise and won't spin leads me to believe that the coupling to the motor and transmission is bad. These are a simple rubbre coupling and they wear out over time. This is where I would look first.

Loud whirring noise going into rinse cycle. Low

Hi tuck just read your posting. Now on the low whirring noise on the start of the rinse cycle ,Is it when the machine is draining the water or filling with water. If the noise happens when the machine is draining then I think either your pump has something slowing it down or it is faulty. Please look underneath the machine to the front right and you should see a red or black fan .If you do then this is your pump.If you don't see a fan you must have the newer style of pump. Please reply with additional information on the questions and I am sure I can help you rectify this problem

There is 2 possible problems. 1. Pump will make noise as soon as the drain and spin starts. 2. Rear bearing this noise usually starts later in cycle as the drum gets up to final speed. The rear bearing of coarse is the most expensive of the two as it is part of the outer tub.

Dishwasher water level low and making strange noise.

Hi, This d/w is designed to run with low water level. The noise you are hearing might be the wash motor. Do you know if this has the single or dual motor setup?
The dual motor style are not the greatest. The wash motor is known to go bad. You can remove the housing below the spray arm and see if anything has lodge in the in impeller. Please let me know if I can assist you further.

Sounds like you have a broken motor coupler. They are inexpensive. Can be a little tough to replace but I can walk you through it. You can purchase a coupler here.

Spin cycle

Did it make this noise just when it stopped spinning.  Just for a couple seconds?  If so,  it's only brake noise and not a concern.  If it does this all during spin you probably have a bad tub bearing.  Is it a roaring noise?  This is what the bearing will sound like.
