Question about HP G70-250us Notebook
I loaded a CD in the CD drive that was apparently not seated correctly. When I went to eject the CD there was nothing in the drive. The CD is stuck inside the laptop. How do I get it out? What do I need to do to remove parts to remove the CD?
If the CD is just a "copy" that can be re-created, then:
1. power OFF laptop
2. straighten-out on end of a paper clip
3. locate the tiny hole on the CD drive
4. push the stylus (the straightened-out paperclip) STRAIGHT into the hole with a strong push.
5. The stylus may need to be longer or stronger.
This always works...
