Question about Sewing Machines

Can I adjust the needle bar on a necchi esperia? My needle is hitting the plate to the right by just the tiniest bit. Is it suppposed to do that? It isn't interfering with sewing, but it is clicking just a small bit.

It may be that your needle is just bent a bit. try a new needle or take that one out and have a look at it

I don't know of any adjustment (I was thinking maybe the arm is actually bent caused by a needle impact). you could try enlarging the hole in the plate or looking for a bend in the arm

Necchi sewing machine

There are a number of things that could cause this.
Needle installed with flat in the wrong direction.
Excessive thread tension,top or bottom.
Lack of lubrication. If the machine can do anything more than a straight stitch the mechanism can gum up and not move the needle correctly.
Here is a link to threading directions.

I have a Singer Quantum XL-1. After replaceing the needle bar stopper, now the machine will start to embroidery, but when the need goes to the right, it stops going up and down. Is there something that...

Take off the bulb cover and check that the buffer at the end of the on the curved spring above the needle bar. It deteriorates like the needle bar stopper you just replaced. If it is still there and in good condition then your machine probably now needs adjustment/service.

Needle hitting stitch plate on my Viking Lilly 545 recently had it serviced, was sewing fine

try a new needle
if the needle is still hitting the needle plate, then it's possible that the machine is out of time and needs to be adjusted, or there is something wrong with the needle bar.

I own a Necchi model 535f......I have had it cleaned and oiled in the last 4 years....I can't get my fabric to feed through my machine

The feed dog & the presser foot have to work together to feed the fabric thru the machine
The feed dog should be seen when you look at the needle plate, if not the feed dog setting should be checked--the feed dog lever may be to the right of the bobbin area
Open the light bulb door also called the Lamp Cover door or Face Plate,, there should be a knob at the top round or star shaped,, that adjusts the needle bar that puts pressure on the presser foot,, it may have numbers or letters, mine is a star shape & has numbers on it & is set between the 2-3
Adjust it a little at a time & then sew to see which setting is best for your machine

Needle hits needle plate with heavy fabric

that is your problem, your needle bar is centered too far to the back. There are 2 little bolts (Below the presser foot lift on the back of the machine) that must be loosened while the needle bar is repositioned aligning the needle bar assembly.

Kenmore sewing machine 385.1960180, problem with needle centering

That sounds like it's definitely an internal adjustment. The machine will need to be opened up and the left/right adjustment taken care of. Is this machine one that you can open the top easily, or is it the type that has the front and rear shell?

Needle continues to hit plate

Sounds like the needle is not inserted correctly, take it out and make sure it is in the right spot and the right way around, (has Flat on one side)
