My 1994 Sedan Seville needs an alternator how do I change it

The alternator in your car is one of the easiest fixes you can do. First, remove the NEGATIVE (-) battery cable.
You must relieve the tension on the serpentine belt by loostening the retaining bolt, then remove the wiring harness plug from the back of the alternator, then remove the two retaining bolts from the alternator. Reverse the procedure to install the new alternator, making sure that belt tension is adequate. Replace the netgative battery cable last, and test.
If the serpentine belt is loose, replace the belt.

I am using a Denon internet radio on LAN (pirelli modem), works fine, but I cannot receive BBC. BBC on the PC works fine. Could that be a router problem? Any ports or adjustments I have to consider? If so,...

I have the same problems with my Pirelli modem in Austria (A1) trying to play BBC radio stations. I connected my Denon CEOL RCD-N7 to a different network (SilverServer in Austria) and it played the BBC radio stations swimmingly (not sure what modem was used btw)... I have another internet radio at home (Reciva based) and surprisingly, that one plays the BBC stations fine using the WMA streams.
I do have a workaround now for the Denon system: I have added the following URLs (AAC streams) to "My Added Stations" on and they work like a charm:

Any suggestions as to what the issue might be with the Pirelli modem are welcome!

-- Hope this helps.

Require advice as to replacement tyres for 2009 XF I wish to change manufacture as I have Pirelli tyres at the moment is it safe to fit another manufacture i.e. Goodyear - Bridgestone - Dunlop with the...

Odd question

Where does safety come in here?
All tire mfg make safe tires for your car

That said there are some that won't be so good
on it

Pirelli's are too hard a ride in my opinion

Tire Rack is the place to look & read reviews

Then go to at least four stores to look at tread designs

I would suggest you look at cooper tires if they have your size
in the tread you want

Goodyear are too expensive & so forth etc

Take your time doing some research

Is it okay to buy tires other than the OEM Pirelli's for the 2004 XC70? I've never had an AWD vehicle before and I'm concerned about potential problems with other than OEM tires. However, I'm also not...

You will not like the price, of any of the tire choices, you have today

Any tire will be $200 ea

The tire rack is a good site to evaluate tires

Always go to several tire stores, to look at what your
interested in. Size doesn't matter for looking at tread design

I don't think, you thought out that question
You own the vehicle, you control tire selection, maintenance, etc

OEM tires are just that. It is possible that your car came with
any number of different brands. The factory will make a run, then
switch venders. All about money & savings
Usually the OE tires, are not the best, as far as wear

All you need, is a quality tire, and the outside diameter is critical
with AWD. That said, after you inflate, buy and then measure the outside of
the tire, what do you do. If you own a shop you can try several tires

My advice, is commit to some serious money,we have no choice,we have to use
what the vehicle was designed for
I wouldn't own a 4x4 or AWD, and run a summer tire. Without an aggressive tread you
defeat the purpose of AWD
So I would suggest you step up to the most aggressive tread you can find, in the correct size
You most likely got, what I call street tires,a florida special

Those less aggresive tires are no good in snow.
And 4x4 and AWD only drives on one tire per axle, not all 4

Pirelli --from my research, coinsidently is at the bottom of the list, forget them

Anyone use Michelin Pilot road 2 dual compounds?

but I go through them in a few months. The dual compounds on the Pirelli's are medium and soft the compounds on the Pilot Road 2's are hard and medium so they should last longer. I like to lean low real low, and I'm used to the soft compound. How are the Michelins on the twisties? Good? Bad?? looking for input. And also, I use 180/55 17, how many of you guys use 190/50 17 for a rear tire? ,I have the 180/55 2CT on the rear of the Mille now, Pilot Power up front. These are great tires, very confidence inspiring - stable and flickable at the same time. I'm hoping the added longevity of the 2CT will see the rear last as long as the front so I can change them as a pair for once. __________________,,,

Moden router PIRELLI

If you are looking to save energy in your home, turning off the router will save you some money, but it's not necessary to do so. As long as you don't switch it on and off many times a day.
