Question about Canon DR-9080C Path-Through Scanner
Almost every time it is dirt (toner from laser prints) on the three lenses on the bottom. Really Work these with a damp rag. Otherwise is is probably paper dust in the top 3 transmitters. Open the lid and remove the 6 or so screws around the three transmitters (there are two inside the top roller area as well) with a little effort the plate should slide out. Clean the plate well and run a damp rag over the transmitters.

Make sure the feed switch on the feed tray and eject assembly is not knocked out of position.
