You need the Inverter Board.

It can be replaced, but it is probably going to cost you more then the cost of a new TV to do it.

If you are looking to replace the LCD screen on your TV, I would first suggest contacting Sony for pricing and availability of replacement parts. Please keep in mind that the price of any replacement part may be dependent on wether the part is sold by itself or as part of a larger assembly. Additionally, if the current market value of the entire TV is for some reason less than the replacement cost of the screen, the manufacturer may not even have this part available for purchase.

Should you prefer to not contact Sony directly - or have no preference if the replacement screen is an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) part, is rebuilt or an aftermarket part - you might want to try speaking with your local TV repair facility for more information. A local technician may be able to provide you with the contact information for a parts supplier in your area, and in some cases may even have a replacement screen readily available.

Remember that improper installation may result in further damage to your TV, and services not performed by a factory-authorized technician may potentially void any existing warranty coverage.

Unfortunately in most cases the cost to repair the tv is not worth it. The replacement panel plus the labor in most cases cost's more than what the tv cost you to buy. You can call Sony if you are intrested in the cost of the panel. 1-800-222-7669
