Question about Brother HL-2040 Laser Printer
I was attempting to print an address on an envelope, when it jammed in the printer.I followed the instructions from my User Guide.Unfortunately the envelope tore when I was pulling it out and I have been unable to find or remove the other piece of the envelope.
When you open the back door there's a guide that pulls down and on either side of the fuser there are levers to release the pressure from the rollers, if you can see any of the envelope from there you should be able to gently and evenly pull it thru. Otherwise a shop repair to remove the rest and fix whatever caused the jam.
