Check to make sure that the battery is snug against the leads. I've seen several cases where the leads became weak and the battery wasn't making a good connection. If thats the case a simple paper shim should work.

Can not ring out or recieve calls keeps showing error conection

The number one reason for this problem is that the phone itself was trying to connect to a tower when you switched to another. This happens a lot and normally it self rectifies but sometimes it is not able to handle the change.
The fix is quite simple:
1. power down the phone and restart. This should fix the phones problems almost instantly.
If that fails, remove the battery and hold the power button for 10 seconds. Reinsert the battery and start the phone again. This is a variant of the above which "resets" the phone.
Finally if neither solution work your best bet is to use another phone to contact the manufacturer. Inform them that the phone is no longer getting a signal. If you make sure to stress it is a manufacturing defect of the chip they will almost certainly replace it for free.

My Samsung Tint sch420 battery gets hot after a short period of talking and it is having difficulty maintaining a signal, it drops calls in the middle of a conversation. Are they both related?

It could be the excess heat is interfering with the functionality of the phone. I would contact your service provider to get a new battery. DO NOT KEEP USING THE SAME BATTERY (you could permanently damage the phone, which would void your warranty).

I replaced LG 800 - 800mAh Battery with a 1000mAh battery but the phone will not take a charge. On attempting to charge the screen & keypad flash on and off .Returning to my old battery everything works...

Hi, the problem you are having is with the new battery, their is a chip in the old battery that matches exactly with the phones make and model, now as the new battery is slightly different the phone is not picking up the signal and is going into safe mode to prevent damage being done by a battery that could be over powering the phone, if it was an older phone it would work as their is no chip in the battery but these newer phones have to match exactly with the correct parts else it will just put itself into safe mode to prevent any further damage being done by over powering the phone.

all you need to do is get the same battery as the one that was in the phone, if you take your phone to one of those independent phone shops they may be able to match a better battery up for you that will last longer in your phone.

now here is a tip

when you get a new battery its best if once a month you let it go totally flat keep switching the phone on until it wont switch on any more, then give it a full charge, doing this prevents bad cells forming in the battery and this will keep the life of the battery at its best, they dont tell you this when you buy the phone but they should do.

if you never let the battery go totally flat then this causes the cells to not charge properly and then this causes bad cells to form then when you charge the battery the cell wont get a full charge and then the phones battery life will decrease so let the battery go totally flat once a month and this will keep the battery life at its fullest and will keep your phone working for longer.

let me know how you get on or if you need further assistance ok

please rate this solution as i have a whole page of unrated posts, thanks

All electronic accessories work when key is in

test power at the starter's power wire. If there is voltage, replace starter. If there is no power, check fuses/relays, if those are fine, check ignition switch (there is a recall on this since 2002). Typical symtoms of ignition switch failure on these vehicles include: Some warning lights not lit when key is turned to ON (ABS, battery, check engine, oil light etc.), Intermitted hard start/No start, stalling while driving, intermitted guage failure. If it is an ignition switch failure, call your local honda dealer for possible free repair under the recall(have your VIN# at hand). hopefully this helps

Phone won't recieve signal

Try to power cycle the phone by removing the battery for a minute then place it back in, try to check if there is a signal on the phone. If it keeps on having the same issues you need to call your service provider for network related issues.

2003 Chevy Malibu. While driving down the road turn signal keeps clicking randomly.

what this means that either you have a short in the wire harness going to the turnsignal/dimmer switch assembly . or the switch contacts inside the dimmer switch itself are shorting. this would be a good place to check for the intermitant problem

Blue On G1

ok i had this isssue and figure out what to do. this is all afterm you know that you have a good charger and or battery.

1. completely turn of phone unplug charger.
2. take and put battery back in phone and plug charger.
3. hold hit camera button and power buton. phone will come on if the update was washed it will come straight on. if not you will see the blue LED dont worry yet. just keep holding for 15 sec.
4. while phone blue LED is still on hit and hold (drum Role) menu and track ball for 15 sec.
5. now unplug charger and take out battery. wait 10 sec
6. now put battery back in and leave charger off. and turn on. unless you was in middle of update and hardware failed this WILL bring your G1 back up and running.

hope this helps everyone . MIll$tronics signing out.

Swithing off and poor signal

i would advise you take your phone either back or to a phone shop because that has something to do with the phone itself and the on/off deffinitly is the phone
