Picture zoomed in and now not all picture is showing

Did you try to zoom out?

When you zoom in, your TV removes some portion from the edges of the picture and shows the rest full-screen.

If you want zooming out instructions, please provide information about your TV's make and model.

Thank you.

My picture is zoomed in, the picture is too big for the screen. I've tried a hard reset, and I have the factory remote, but I can't seem to even find the zoom option. how can i un-zoom my tv?

there may not be a zoom option but there should be a ratio setting i.e 16x9,4.3 letter box i had that problem and found it in my display settings my screen resolution was changed to 16x9 zoom

the cable remote has a zoom feature in the settings. the zoom setting got turned on somehow. This feature overrides the picture size settings on the tv.
so, not a tv problem at all, but easily missed.

Stuck on Zoom

That's a weird one, allot of mitsubishi tvs will lock the format for hd programing but normally its locked at "Full" not "zoom". Do you have a cable box or satellite box? If so you might want to contact them and see if you are able to zoom them in on the box...if you can that might be where your problem is. If you cannot zoom on the box then you have a weird problem, my first guess would be the signal board in the TV. Let me know about the box and then we can move forward.

Zoom control

Use the menu key on the set it has a size selection in the menu set it on widescreen or 16:9 I suggest buying a new original remote as even a new RCA universal remote may not have the ZOOM or aspect control on them.

Akai stuck on zoom??

Run it through the different 'MODE' settings. it may really be on zoom, or just confused.

Also, try unplugging it for a minute. plug it back in and see if it's better.

My TV is on a sort of permenate zoom.

hello, my 1 yr. old just last nite was pressing buttons on the front of my RCA 52" and i saw something pop up in the left corner that said zoom. i have not found anything that will unzoom it but i have found something to help. Go into the menu and go to picture. then to the advance settings and choose the automatic preference. it will fix it depending usually on the programming. Picture mode changes to zoom by itself

It sounds like an eeprom issue. But you can try to reset the set. Turn the set off by the main power on the set. wait a minute or two then together push both the main power button and the standby power button. This should resett the tv. If that doesnt work you will need service as the zoom and the various modes are all controled by the eeprom. Only hold the two buttons for a second. sometimes you will hear the crts discharge while resetting.Hope this helps
