Disconnect the refrigerator from AC Power. Remove the light bulb, get a flashlight and look into the socket the bulb screws into and see if there's any corrosion in the socket that could be preventing power from getting to the bulb. If there is corrosion get some steel wool or a scouring pad and thoroughly polish the inside of the socket, (CAUTION BE SURE THE REFRiGERATOR IS NOT PLUGGED INTO THE WALL AC OUTLET WHILE DOING THIS,) After cleaning the socket re-install the bulb and plug refrigerator back into the wall and see if it lights up,when the door is open, if it doesn't, the next thing to check would be the switch that applies power to the bulb when the refrigerator door is opened. It could be stuck or it may have gone bad.

Sidelight not working after new blub

Probably not making good contact with the connector, or wrong or defective new bulb. If bulb has wires at its base make sure the wires are where they belong on the base and the bulb is aligned properly with the contacts in the socket. If the bulb has a metal base, make sure it is the right bulb, the spring-loaded contact in the socket is clean and not pushed into the socket too far, and the bulb is aligned/inserted correctly.

Driver side tail light does not work on my 2001 gmc sierra

Check the contacts in the bulb socket for power. If they have power the contacts could just be bent out of shape and not contacting the blub properly.

Rear light install for 1997 jeep grand cherokee

Just changing the bulb or didya crash out the whole light and need to change the whole thing? Both are easy with the tailgate open there's two screws that screw into the light, with them out the light pulls out to the side some then straight back ( it pops out with the screws removed. once the light is away from the body the bulb scocktes can be removed by depressing the tab on the side of the scocket and turning the socket to the left. The bulb just pulls stright out and the new one is a 3157 a 3057 will work the back up light and the yellow turn signal are 3156 put in the ones you need turn em on and test that they work, There's a plug in the harness that can be disconnected and reconnected that may cause the light not to work as for changing the whole light just take out all the blub bases and the light is in your hand. A new light will come with the blub bases and bulbs all you need to do is plug in the harness and pop the light in pust it forward till the screw holes line up and install the screws and your done.

Open the hood. Discount the neg. battery cable.Theres 3 screws right on top of the light assembly. Remove these screws to remove the headlight. To remove the bulb from the headlight assembly rotate the blub retaining ring counterclockwise. don't touch the new blub when installing. Make sure all 3 tabs go into there slots on the retaining ring when installing the new blub

How to replace licence plate lights on 2002

There are 3 bulbs in the tail light assembly. Make note which one is burned out. Unscrew the whole tail light assembly; there are 2 screws that hold it to the body. Then unplug the wiring harness which will free the assembly. You then unscrew the assembly from the lens. The blubs will be visible, push and twist to free the bad bulb. Take the bulb to an auto parts store and get a new one.
Push and turn the new bulb into the socket. Attach the wiring harness, you can see if the blub is working at this stage (try brakes, lights and signal) If so, screw the lens back onto the housing and then the whole assembly back onto the body.

Change a light blub

Two possible ways.
1) Unscrew the ring holding the lens to the light, sperate light reflector from light body, unscrew light bulb. Take bulb to bike show or hardware store and buy the same type and size, reinstall.
2) Unscrew fasteners hold light body together and then to the same as step one.
When you get older please turn your car lights on at night.

Light in convection shorted out when replaceing blub

This is most often caused by the filaments shorting when the bulb blows, or by not disconnecting the microwave from the power line when removing or installing a bulb.

This is a problem with the control panel assembly, which we repair nationwide for $39.95.
