Hi,
PUK code in PIN UNLOCKING CODE, which is required when you give PIN number wrongly for 3 times, This code is OPERATOR specific and not phone specific and you have to call you operator and get PUk if PIN is blocked...
if you provide PUK code wrongly for 7 time, you sim may become useless, then you have to buy new SIM
NOTE: You should ask your service provider..

Tip

Getting PUK code

Normally for NOKIA mobiles, the default PIN code is 0000.

When you initially starting to use your mobile, your PIN code wil be '0000' and after you can go to 'access codes' to change the PIN code as you want.

Security code is 12345

For MOTOROLA mobiles, the default PIN code is 1234.
security code is 000000

For SONY ERICSON mobiles, the default PIN code is 0000

As you set up a new PIN code and if you forget your pin code and you already entered your wrong PIN code 3 times ,then this may lock your phone and it wil ask for a 'PUK code'.

If it asks for the PUK code please call your service provider and they wil give you the PUK code.

NOTE:You cannot call from your mobile as your mobile is fully locked. please use any other mobile to call the service providers.

Before giving the PUK code they wil ask for your informations to cross check with the Data base that they have. please give the correct information to them,if they are not satisfied with the information given by you, they may refuse to give you the PUK code.

thanx

SAMSUNG S5233 WHY THEMES IS NOT DOWNLAOD ?

Tired of memorizing new PIN codes? We show you how to change your SIM card's various PIN and PUK codes in less than 5 seconds.

Although most people remember their primary SIM PIN code, those other codes - used for various verification purposes - are never to be found when needed. Below we've included a set of short codes which, when entered on a handset's standby screen, will let you easily change PIN and PUK (short for Pin Unlock Code) codes - but keep in mind, they may not work with all handsets and mobile operators.

More importantly, when changing ones PUK codes there'll be no help to get from the mobile operator if the new codes are forgotten, so make sure to write any changes down alongside the old PUK codes. Also, please note that the codes should be entered without the spaces shown below.

Change SIM Card PIN

** 04 * old PIN * new PIN * new PIN #

Change SIM Card PIN 2 (Write down the new code)

** 042 * old PIN * new PIN * new PIN #

Change SIM Card PUK (Write down the new code)

** 05 * old PUK * new PUK * new PUK #

Change SIM Card PUK 2 (Write down the new code)

** 052 * old PUK * new PUK * new PUK #

Display Handset IMEI

*# 06 #

T-mobile nokia phone ask to enterpin..i enter my password and it wont activate and continues to ask for my pin then it asks for a puk code

Hi,

For NOKIA mobile the default PIN is 0000 and Security Code is 12345.

It asks PUK code because you must have entered wrong PIN code more than 3 times,To get the PUK code you should call your serivce provider.
They will give you the PUK code if you provide correct informations of yours. They do this to make sure that the mobile belongs to you only.
After entering the PUK code it asks for your PIN code so please type the PIN code which you want and remember it.
