Check the connections first at the tv. Try another device on the same input to make sure the input isn't bad. Then you can try another cable.

Game cube has no sound

Sounds like you checked everything but the cables. Is it cut or spliced anywhere? or it could just be old and broken.
Turn on your gamecube and squeeze your sound cables (red and white) if you hear any sound while squeezing the cables its broken. You could either splice it or replace it. Best of luck to you.

I plugged my 120V GameCube into the 220V outlet of an AVR which has a 110V outlet. I know, very stupid. Anyway, I heard the fuse of the AVR popped and it turned off. I removed from the main outlet and...

gamecubes are NOT 120 volts you got that from yahoo answers other websites say 12 volts which sounds bout rite i think you need to rethink the problem and post again if that little blue box takes that many 9 volt batteries to power (just an example) then that is not a gamecube but a nintendo god (treat with care)

Gaming on bigscren

well the only way you can damage a bigscreen playing a game is leaving the game paused for a long time then the image would be faded into the screen so dont leave the gamecube on for 5 hours on pause and youll be ok this goes for all game consoles

Nintendo GameCube power loss after on for 20 mins

Does the gamecube have proper venelation? Did you try buying a cooling fan to see if that prolongs the gametime? To me, it sounds like it is overheating and shutting off before any real damage can be done. Try this and see if you get any results: Put your gamecube in middle of the room, to give it plenty of air and turn it on and see how long you can play it. If it doesn't shut off, the place where you usually have it probably doesn't have enough venelation to keep the cube cool. If that doesn't seem to do anything, check and make sure all the connections are snug (i.e. gamecube to power strip...etc.)

An error has occured

It sounds like the error you would get if you put in a Mini-DVD of something that isn't a GameCube disc... it sounds like you may need to send the machine to Nintendo to check for you... alternatively, you could buy a GameCube ScrewDriver + ScrewBit (http://www.mod-chip.com) and open the machine up... have a look at this google video: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=287148722109597025 on how to dismantle a GameCube... you should just try take the top half off, and then put it back on.. it SHOULD fix it, if nothing has burned or anything.. I just have no idea how it could have happened...
