Question about Garmin StreetPilot C330 GPS Receiver
I changed a registry key in HKLM\init when i wanted to run iGO8 instead of original lucca soft. Rebooted navigation and this happened. When I turn it on it freezes on the first blue screen.
I also tryed to copy recover data from original CD to SD card but with no effect.
The only thing which works is USB connection (I can see and manipulate with 3 flash disks on PC when I attach the navigation: 1st - the SD card, 2nd - 1GB internal disk with original maps and 3rd - cca 40MB internal disk with some screensavers etc. [no OS folder anywhere] ) Can somebody help me to fix it?
apologise my English please...
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: cannot find my map data anymore
Have you checked the wrench menu, map info, the preinstalled map should have a check mark, if not tap on the check box, it should now show a detailed map screen when you go back to the main menu and select show map.

No.......the C340 STREET PILOT has a hidden reset button. Put your fingernail in the slot just under the GARMIN name on the front face plate. Gently pull the face plate outward. Don't take it all the way off. The reset button is on the right side of the front screen just under this plate. Use a pointed object and hold the button IN for 3 seconds and unit will turn off. When you power it back up it will REBOOT.

Try the reset, and if that fails, download the web updater from the
garmin site and try that route.
Master reset will erase all way points or favorites and will restore your unit to the default factory settings.
Practice: it works but you have no idea how ALL That is necessary for the Triumph Of evil is That good men do nothing.

Your map file may be corrupt. You can go to the Garmin website where you registered your unit, and download the same map. If you want to update to a newer map you can do that as well. To ensure that you have the correct map you will have to register your unit if you haven't already done so. Go to the following link:
You will have to first make sure that your GPS is attached to your computer with the black USB cable that came with your unit. Plug the smaller end into the back of the unit and the larger end into one of your USB ports. The GPS will automatically power on. You will see a graphic on the bottom of your screen that looks like a GPS connected to a computer. A line will appear halfway up the screen which will start as a white line and then change to a green one. Once that is done you can register at the above site. The website will attempt to connect to your GPS so that it can read your model and serial numbers. It will then show you which maps are available for you.
