have done everything to have a new clean install of easyshare software. When I get to the point where it is about to transfer the pics, I get a explorer message says the program has to shutdown. Have reinstalled the driver, still no good. Have even tried Picasa, it cannot find the camera, I am very computer literate but cannot solve this one.

Hey Doc

Have you tried uninstalling and then re-installing the software?

Remember, after uninstalling, re-boot before re-installing.

    Hey Doc,

Why did you rate my post as inappropriate?

It's a helpful suggestion and often works.

    Did you actually try it?

Kodak easyshare software

I would suggest booting Windows into 'safe' mode before re-installing after completely removing and making use of Kodak's 'Clear Utility' CLICK HERE to download it; and then it should be able to install the portions of the software which aren't installing.
