Replace the LCD but I do not think it worth it. You can get a used Treo 600 for less than $50 from Ebay. Do not bother

My TREO 600 touch screen stopped working. It displays perfectly, but the touch function no longer works. The phone is fully charged.

Go to applications - preferences - touchscreen. Follow the instructions to calibrate your touchscreen. If it does not work, reset your phone by pressing the small button at the small hole at the back of the phone with a safety pin.

This can be difficult to fix, I supose the motherboard is fine since you can make calls and so on.

Must be the screen then?

Try running the Welcome program (under the system category) this utility will allow you to re calibrate your screen. I do this on my treo 650 (AT&T) whenever my clicking is off.

Try running a piece of paper around the edge of the screen. There may be was something stuck in there, pressing the screen slightly and causing it to not respond to the stylus4.gif.

Touch screen not working

The digitizer can sometimes be damaged over time. I would suggest removing the screws from the back of the device, and then reseating the screen ribbon cable.

That means your touchscreen is no-good at all. I had the same problem. Had to get a rebuilt 600 from Sprint (thank god for the insurance plan).

Touch screen

You may have dust accumulation around the edges of your touchscreen, between the screen and the case. Try using a can of compressed air. Gently press down on the edges of the touchscreen to expose the gap between the screen and the case, and shoot the air in there. This worked for me when my Treo 600 touchscreen stopped responding.
