Question about Dell Inspiron XPS M140 Notebook
TO DISABLE THE TOUCH PAD ON THE DELL XPS M140 LAPTOP THE MANUAL INSTRUCTS YOU TO SELECT THE TOUCH PAD TAB UNDER MOUSE PROPERTIES. I DO NOT HAVE A TOUCH TAB, WINDOWS HELP OFFERS THE SAME INSTRUCTION UNDER PEN AND INPUT BUT LIKEWISE THERE IS NO TOUCH TAB. hOW CAN i DISABLE THE TOUCH PAD?
You should have a "FN" key on the keyboard and one of the "F" keys should have a symbol that looks like the touch-pad, hold FN while using this key should disable it, failing this in control panel, then mouse and pointers, you should have touchpad setting there should be a disable button/radius.
