Question about Compaq Presario M2000 Notebook
Had a similar issue. Went into my desktop video settings. On the advanced tab, Turned down "Hardware acceleration" 1 notch. Screen has been clear and clean since. I assume my video card is feeling its age.
Check the display on external monitor through the vga port of your laptop, check how its coming
