I have brought new Canon pixma MP258 all in one printer last week. I had taken just 120 (Black and white) printouts using the cadridge provided along with the printer. Is that the actual capacity of normal...

The cartridges provided with a new printer are 'Complimentary Cartridges', which dont last long and you have to replace them. Replacement cartridges have more capacity and therefore they last longer.

GoodLuck!
Dont forget to appreciate the solution if I could have been of any help!

Epson stylus rx 425, just cahnged catridges and printer wont recognise this, catridge red light permanently on. help! printer wont recognise cartridge

Try to left up your new cartridge, and reinstall it. chances are your installation of the cartridge is just loosened. If your printer still won't recognise your print cartridge, there might be a problem with your printer motherboard in recognising your cartridge.
