Reset the settings to factory default and swap out the cable you are using. if that doesn't work, you need to check the polarizers on the lcd panels. if they are burnt, you'll need to replace them. but since boxlight doesn't sell individial parts to the optical engine, you'll have to replace the whole engine.

My light comes on dim then goes off an the thing still run a fan and look like it on??? please help

it's either the lamp or the ballast. check the inside of the lamp. if you have bulges, black spots, flaking or fogging, replace the lamp. if the lamp is ok, replace the ballast.

How do you change the lcd panels on a hitachicrr-s55 projector

Hi Eddie

Rather take out the whole LCD unit with prism and replace it.

It is situated in the front of the unit , you can't miss it.

Tip : Don't try and replace only the faulty LCD - IT WILL TURN OUT A DISASTER if you have'nt done it before.
