I dont think it would be wise to fit used parts to a
twostroke engine and parts of a bigger model
wouldnt fit.

Does 4123-400-1300 and 0000-400-1300 the same

0000-400-1300 is for chainsaws and large brush cutters. The 4123-400-1300 does not appear to be a good part number. The correct number is 4123-400-1301 and it is no longer available from the factory meaning you need to find a good used one, find a dealer with new old stock or buy a new trimmer

If it's a 2 cycle. Check that your piston and cylinder are not scored. Do this by removing the muffler and look into the cylinder as you slowly pull the cord. If you see score marks you may be able to find a new cylinder/ piston depending on brand and rebuild.

If it's a 4 cycle ohv(stihl) is could be the valves needing adjustment.

Weedeater head spins off the weedeater body

Jacque It's possible that you are not tightening the head on properly or the nut has completely sheared. If you can get some two part resin glue i would suggest that you try and stick it back with this. I used it on a Mculloch and it lasted years. Make sure to give it 24 hours to set and that everything is clean.

No power fs66 stihl weedeater

Hi When you cleaned the muffler out did you also clean the carbon out of the port on the cylinder as this can be blocked as well. Also you will have to retune the carby, There should be 2 screws 1 for low speed marked l on the carby body and 1 marked h for high speed to start with they should be set at 1 & 1/2 turns out from closed the low speed you set at an idle and the high speed you set at full throttle. Hope this helps.

My weed eater will not ignite the gas

pull the muffle off and look inside the cylinder,if you see score marks it means that you need to replace the piston and cylinder, usually they are not worth rebuilding, you are looking at $125.00 to $175.00 to replace these parts.that price does not enclude any labor cost.hope this helped, let me know.......................

Stihl weed eater runs 2min. then stop

Stihl weedeater was running and stopped suddenly. Put in a new fuel filter and cleaner air filter with soap and water. Checked spark plug and it appeared fine. Started the weedeater, ran for a second or so and stopped. Spark plug wasn't gas fouled. Could it be the carburetor needing new diaphram gasket and spring.
