Problem for GE Security Simon 3 Wireless Home Security System
Unresponsive door sensor--Simon 3
My Simon 3 door sensor failed so I replaced it. It programmed successfully, and became unresponsive within hours. Since then, I have been able to delete and reprogram it successfully, but it still is unresponsive to tests and activations (door openings).

Hi, how far from the panel is the sensor? Anything blocking line of sight. etc.metal duct work or such. try leaving on table near keypad to see if same problem happens. There could be line of sight problem. Good luck.
