Hi,

It is because of keyboard layout . I think it must be set to different language.

I would suggest you to try changing the input method :

To add a keyboard layout for a language

  1. Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, and then tap Search.
(If you're using a mouse, point to the upper-right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer down, and then clickSearch.)
  2. Enter language, choose Settings, and then tap or click Add a language.
  3. Choose the language that you want to add a keyboard layout to, tap or click Options next to the language name, and then tap or click Add an input method.
  4. Browse the input method list or use the search box to look for the keyboard layout you want to use.
  5. Double-tap or double-click the keyboard layout, and then tap or click Save.

To make a keyboard your default keyboard

To set a keyboard as your default keyboard, follow these steps:
  1. Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, and then tap Search.
(If you're using a mouse, point to the upper-right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer down, and then clickSearch.)
  2. Enter language, choose Settings, and then tap or click Add a language.
  3. Tap or click Advanced settings.
  4. Under Override for default input method, choose the keyboard layout you'd like to be your default keyboard, and then tap or click Save.
Thats for Win 8, I am not sure about you OS.

Try the above if the issue persists please let me know what is the OS ?
Are you getting any other language or its just the issue with symbols.

If you have any video please attach so that I can help you better.

Cyclic redundancy check

A cyclic redundancy check error on a hard disk means that part of a file read from the hard disk doesn't match the expected value.
A cyclic redundancy check error, in other words, means that files on your hard drive are corrupted.
Repair a cyclic redundancy check error on a hard disk using the Check Disk tool in Windows.

Click "Start" and click "Computer."
Right-click the hard disk with the cyclic redundancy check error under "Hard Disk Drives" and click "Properties."
Click the "Tools" tab at the top of the hard disk "Properties" window.
Click "Check Now" under "Error Checking."
Select "Automatically Fix File System Errors" and "Scan for and Attempt Recovery of Bad Sectors" in the "Check Disk" window by clicking each option if it isn't already selected.
Start a disk check and repair by clicking "Start" in the "Check Disk" window.
Click "Yes" if the "Do you want to schedule the disk check to occur the next time you restart the computer?" prompt appears.
A disk can't be checked if it's in use, so you'll need to restart Windows to check it.
Restart your computer by clicking "Start," clicking the arrow icon to the right of "Shut Down" and clicking "Restart."
(External drives will not schedule to happen on restart it will happen straight away.)

How to find cyclic redundancy check ?

Cyclic Redundancy Check
The cyclic redundancy check, or CRC, is a technique for detecting errors in digital
data, but not for making corrections when errors are detected. It is used primarily
in data transmission. In the CRC method, a certain number of check bits, often
called a checksum, are appended to the message being transmitted. The receiver
can determine whether or not the check bits agree with the data, to ascertain with
a certain degree of probability whether or not an error occurred in transmission. If
an error occurred, the receiver sends a "negative acknowledgement" (NAK) back
to the sender, requesting that the message be retransmitted.
The technique is also sometimes applied to data storage devices, such as a
disk drive. In this situation each block on the disk would have check bits, and the
hardware might automatically initiate a reread of the block when an error is
detected, or it might report the error to software.
The material that follows speaks in terms of a "sender" and a "receiver" of a
"message," but it should be understood that it applies to storage writing and reading
as well.
The CRC is based on polynomial arithmetic, in particular, on computing the
remainder of dividing one polynomial in GF(2) (Galois field with two elements)
by another. It is a little like treating the message as a very large binary number, and
computing the remainder on dividing it by a fairly large prime such as
Intuitively, one would expect this to give a reliable checksum.
A polynomial in GF(2) is a polynomial in a single variable x whose coefficients
are 0 or 1. Addition and subtraction are done modulo 2-that is, they are
both the same as the exclusive or operator. For example, the sum of the polynomials

x3 + x + 1 and
x4 + x3 + x2 + x

What is the basic code for html code for background

HTML Background Code This article provides HTML background code - code for setting the background properties of an HTML element.
The following examples use Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). CSS is the best way of setting the background properties in your HTML. It's more flexible than the (outdated) HTML method (more on that below). Using CSS, you can set the background properties of any HTML element. Plus you can do things like, specify an image's position, whether it should repeat, how it should repeat etc.
Background Color You can set the background color of any HTML element using the background-color property. You can choose a background color with the HTML color chart.
HTML Color Codes Use this page to get HTML color codes for your website. The colors are represented by their hexadecimal values (the most common method for the web). On the color picker, you can also see the RGB values (you can use these for the web too).
Example of HTML color code usage:
To learn more about HTML colors and how to apply them to your website, check out the HTML colors section of the HTML tutorial.

How to turn on chinese writing for sony ericsson xperia x8

You need to make sure you have chinese input method installed. You may check this in the settings-> Applications -> Manage applications or setings->Language & keyboard. If not, you can find and install one from the Android Marketplace. One of the good one could be the Google pinyin. Also, the fashion Swype input method also supports chinese input as a beta function, but you have to root your phone to install this. After this, you can check the setings->Language & keyboard to enable and setup the input method of your choice.
