Question about Maytag Neptune MDE6700A Electric Dryer
I need to switch to cord on my dryer from a four prong to a cord that is a three prong I am wondering about the ground... there are 3 terminals on the dryer and a seperate ground bolt however the 3 prong wire only has a neutral and 2 other wires... what about the seperate ground?
On a 3 wire system you can pair the green wire with the white under the same screw and of course put the power wires on the left and right of the white one :)

Dre, sounds like you moved and the dryer electrical outlet is only 3 pronged, This tells me that the dryer will be grounded through the neutral leg. Just hook up the cord and you should be fine. Make sure the white is in the center. Catriver.
