Most jvc have the same wiring .......orange is switch power, red is power, yellow is memory and gray set front right speaker, white set front left, the purple set rear right and green set is left rear. the blue wire is the remote out to your power amp to turn the amp on.,or a power antenna.
the speaker wires sets have a dotted line and a solid color.
the dotted line is the(-) terminal on the speaker

Car manufacturers donot keep color code. Your best bet is to order a universal adapter. JVC color code can be found in the instruction book. I will attach a picture. upload is not working. email me to jpulickal@gmail.com

Need to wire JVC model KD-G340 into a 97 Kia Sephia

Do not cut the wires from the car. Instead, call Crutchfield at 888-955-6000 and order the adapter part number 120701003. When you call them, ask for color coding. For JVC, refer to the attached picture. Match the adapter color code with that of JVC. If the adapter color code is the same, then connect ground (black), battery (yellow), and wire from ignition switch (red) securely. Turn on the car and see the radio works. If it works, connect one by one speakers and confirm. Remember, perfect connection gives reliable installation.

Need color codes for new radio to 99 nissan sentra

Hello jmartinatl,

The color codes for your receiver is here.

Just match the function of each wire the the appropriate wire on your vehicle. Or better yet, purchase a vehicle specific aftermarket wiring harness that plugs into the vehicle wiring.

Hope this helps.

Need color codes for wires

Hello zombiekilroy,

Since you did not reveal the brand name of the unit you have, it's not possible to get you the specific color code.

Here is a link to the Car Audo Help Guide which has the color codes for many common aftermarket stereos, including Pioneer, Alpine, JVC, Sony, Kenwood, and others.

http://www.carstereo.com/help/radio_wires.cfm

If you are looking for OEM color codes, they are also located on this site here:

Hope this helps.
