My kodak z740 is almost 2 years old and is such a great camera. All of a sudden, one day i tried to take a picture and it just turned off, like it does when the battery runs out. I charged the battery and tried using it again. It worked when I used it inside, like nothing was wrong, but when I tried using it outside, in bright light, as soon as I pressed the shutter button (even just lightly to focus) it turned off. After trying to turn it on a couple of times, it turned back on. When I put my hand over the lens, it worked like normal, but it seems like the bright light situation is the only time it turns off when I try to take a picture. I've tested this theory a few times and it holds true. Why does my camera turn off in bright light? whats wrong? how do I fix this?
